Welcome to Kee and Nee's world of writing. Kee is an up-and-coming professional writer, with one novel nearing completion and more on the way. Nee works with words as a student, translator, and editor. This is where we will pat each other on the back or kick each other in the butt, depending on what we need. Feel free to pat or kick, too!

Ok, this is totally not writing-related, but I wanted to just rub it in that I have already bought AND WRAPPED my first xmas presents. Ha ha! I pwn'ed you, Kee! I'm the xmas-master now! BWA HA HA!
I am so ashamed. My rein is over. I have yet to buy one gift. But my X-mas shopping trip is in less than two weeks and I've at least got a pretty good list of things I want to buy. Better put your order in now or you might end up with another year of matching sweaters for you and hubby.(hee!)
Well, no kids are reading this, so I can admit that I bought advent calendars for the non-teen nieces and nephews and that I want to get them in the mail before Nov. 1. They're not just little chocolate ones, though (except for the 2 kids with a 1-year-old brother), but fancy Playmobil advent calendars. I knew they weren't even available in the States, so I should reap serious cool-aunt points over this (even though I put Hannah's name on them). John wonders if I'll be able to get rid of the book-lady taint with this move. ;-P
Then I can finish up the rest of my shopping online at my leisure. If I can avoid going into a store after about Nov. 15, my life will be bliss.
